Carrier Routes
Cartographic representation of delivery areas for mail carriers.
Carrier Routes are delivery areas for mail carriers. The boundaries are defined by Census Blocks and partial Census Blocks included in them. Areas for which no delivery is found have been classified as non-delivery (void) areas. Due to the nature of carrier delivery, many routes are identified by more than one polygon, which are in some instances non-contiguous. We make every effort to insure that carrier routes are defined by one polygon wherever possible. This product also includes ZIP Code areas. A ZIP Code area in this product is the area covered by all Carrier Routes with the same ZIP Code.
