Canadian Census Subdivisions (CSD)
Census Subdivisions are comprised of political municipal boundaries, such as cities, towns, village, townships, and Indian Reserves, within provincial census divisions. There are 5,984 CSDs in Canada. The US equivalent is a Minor Civil Division (MCD).
