Sentiment Signals - Unemployment Graph
The Unemployment Graph is an example of the PreCasts (early forecasts) TrendPointers produces each month. Note the accuracy of the TrendPointers PreCasts compared to the actual data releases since December 2009.
Many businesses rely on Unemployment data as a measure they use in forecasting the business climate. Unemployment is also highly correlated with credit card charge offs.
