Business Summary Data
A geographic summary featuring more than 16 million US businesses.
The Business Summary Database is a snapshot that summarizes business establishments, employees, payroll, and retail sales for over 16 million businesses and the vast majority of the labor force. The database is available for all standard levels of geography including block group.
Business Summary is a geographic compilation of the Acxiom InfoBase business list, supplemented by payroll, occupational, and retail sales data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the County Business Patterns program. InfoBase is built from a careful integration of Acxiom's white and yellow page data along with information from other sources such as city directories, annual reports and 10K filings.
